Câu chuyện mang một ý nghĩa giản dị mà sâu sắc, những người mong thành công để được hưởng lợi ngay là những kẻ "Dục tốc bất đạt". Càng mong muốn mau chóng thành tựu nhưng lại tỏ ra thiếu chí nhẫn nại thì không thể học xa được.
